I searched all my gba roms for the string "beta" and the following titles seem to be suspicious:
0278 - Asterix & Obelix (E)
0613 - The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (U)
0715 - The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (E)
1077 - Pirates of the Caribbean (U)
1194 - Pirates of the Caribbean (E)
1271 - Looney Tunes - Back in Action (U)
Please take a look at the attached pictures! They show you the exact position of the word "beta" in the corresponding rom.

0278: Beta is in contest with every version: alpha, pre alpha, beta, beta2, ecc...so it's fine ;)

Ok. But what about "LOTR - Fellowship of the Ring" and "Looney Tunes - Back in Action"?
I also found another one: "Star Wars - Flight of the Falcon" (U) and (E). There's "v0.1a" in both of them! Referring to your help how to recognize a beta version this is definetely one!
