Hi.. first off, I've gone through only 1/4 of the set. I used GameFaqs as a primary reference, though chose to ignore the database's claims several times in good faith. Well, we only list those titles which are dumped and released. Anyway, those specific EUR titles probably are:

In japanese, it is MÄR (メル), even if it stands, as you said, for Märchen Awakens Romance... Should it be "MAER", then ?

I faced this "MAR/MAER" question yesterday, when revising the suggestions by the original poster. "MÄR" is both the acronym and the abbr. of "Märchen Awakens Romance". The Japanese spelling "メル" (meru) seems to confirm that the German reading of first syllable in "Märchen" is intended for "MÄR", so I think that, yes, MAER should be used.
