I already mentioned towards "someone" that b2071988 pointed out "z010 - Super Mario (World) (Demo) (Kiosk, E3 2011)" is trimmed. Also CTR says "Underdump". So I guess z010 should be untrimmed?

not sure how to verify if untrimmed properly. is lossless untrimming even possible? tried rom_tool and CTR. be nice if the owner would dump it again without uncarts trim option switched on.

I just tried "rom_tool" (arguments "-t" and "-r") with three ROMs and I always got the original CRC back. If you remove the update partition, you'll get an error message when untrimming. But don't know if it is 100% safe to rely on that tool.

I've skimmed through the thread @ gbatemp and it seems trimming <-> untrimming 3DS ROMs is a reversible process. Anyone can refute? :D

A cording to this (https://gbatemp.net/threads/tut-clean-shrink-3ds-roms-using-a-hex-editor-tut.375534/) trimming just involves removing "FF"s at the end of the file.

I take that as a confirmation. ;)

Well, I don't actually know. :P
