A little late, but better than never.

Ganpuru is a Japanese short form of "Gunman's Proof". "Gun Proo", in other words (you very well may have known this already, and my apologies if so). Gunple doesn't make sense and can be seen as a typo or mistaken romanization. It's worth consideration, I suppose, but as the "Gunple" is in the header of the game and not on the cartridge or box, I'm inclined to believe the name should stay is it currently is or be changed to "GunProo - Gunman's Proof", ugly as either title may be.
