I think this is a USA release of Jungle Strike with a different hash. I got it off eBay, but it's either real, or the most obsessively, delicately scuffed/dirtied repro ever to hit the lucrative $9.95 market segment.

The label has art similar to the US SNES release. Manufacturing code on label is 34. PCB looks legit.

Dumped with a Retrode 2, firmware .25a.

Thanks for the submission. Could you also link to photos of the back+front of cart and PCB?

One other interesting wrinkle... the label implies that the game is Super Game Boy enhanced, but the ROM header at 146 is 0, not 3, which means it's not. Could be a mislabeled run, and it was cheaper for Ocean to just replace the label with the European one for later releases.

Could you please if possible create a patch (IPS or other) from the current ROM (CRC32:763ABABB) to your dump?

I'm afraid not; I don't have a copy of the other cartridge for comparison.

Search for Jungle Strike (USA, Europe) on archive.org ;)
