My dump of DMG-YS-NOE-1 with the Super Game Boy Logo has actually turned out to be the version with no SGB feature.
I think this may have to be renamed to Daffy Duck (USA) (SGB Enhanced).gb.
Unless someone else confirms another copy of NOE-1 or UKV-2.

The region assignment was changed back when I dumped my DMG-YS-NOE, which contained what is now Daffy Duck (Europe).

DMG-YS-NOE has "Original Game Boy Videospiel"
DMG-YS-USA has "Super Game Boy Game Pak" (North American Logo)

So, eBay pics and your scan reveal:

DMG-YS-NOE-1 has "Super Game Boy Game Pak" (European Logo), but the game in there was the same as Daffy Duck (Europe)? So the German advertisement lies?

Remember that the -N version numbers on the labels are really only label versions.

This probably means that there were Daffy Duck (USA, Europe) (SGB Enhanced).gb sold with the German DMG-YS-NOE-1 label and there was a mixup at the factory (old game, new label).

But the naming scheme now seems correct. Nobody reported a North American version (with North American SGB label) that actually contains Daffy Duck (Europe).

If such a game were to turn up, we'd likely have to revise

Daffy Duck (Europe) => Daffy Duck (USA, Europe)

And the only distionction would be (SGB Support) missing on one version.

My original report is http://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.php?page=discussion_show&s=46&thread=1967

Not much info there, just bookkeeping here :)

Hi there, it could be a mistake, we've seen a few of them so far. A good example is DragonHeart (USA, Europe) DMG-ADHP-FAH with "La version francias", which it is not (have a look at my scans). Even "francaise" is spelt wrong :)

I wonder what's in this german box :)

Speeking of -N version numbers, they don't seem to be only label versions.
They might be PCB revisions, like
WWF King of the Ring (USA, Europe)
DMG-WPE-NOE -> DMG-BEAN-02
DMG-WPE-NOE-1 -> DMG-BEAN(K)-02

And maybe Daffy Duck.. but we really don't know, yet.
DMG-YS-NOE -> DMG-BEAN-02
DMG-YS-NOE-1 -> DMG-BEAN(K)-02

I don't think labels and PCBs go together with versioning. Most of the PCBs are interchangeable anyway, so I doubt it played a major role.

I might check my inventory later. I feel like I should have had different PCBs in cases with the same label by now.
