I believe the file named: Shaffle Fight (Japan) is wrong.

I believe it should be: Shuffle Fight (Japan)

Shuffle Fight makes more "sense" from an English perspective. But the box katakana is:
シヤフル or shyafuru (alternatively shi ya fu ru)

The second character being "ya" suggests the name givers want it to be an "a" instead of a "u". Otherwise they would have a different second character, which would have made it:
シアフル or shiafuru

A good example is how the English word "cat" is written in Japanese. "kyatto" (alternatively "ki a to") instead of "katto", because the latter would sound too much like "cut" instead of "cat".

So the odd title "Shaffle Fight" is likely accurate. It isn't like some Japanese titles aren't strange from an English-speaker's perspective anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion regardless. :3

@C.V.Reynolds

That's incorrect, the original tittle is not シヤフル but シャフル, when you put together SHI and the small YA the sound is SHA not SHYA, also the Japanese vocals are not pronounced the same as in english, that's why they didn't use the Japanese ユ (YU) kana.

https://jisho.org/search/shuffle

「シャッフル」

would be the perfect translation, but as you can see it doesn't have the sound repetition in this tittle, I believe that is because it's actually short for shuffleboard that is written without the repetition, as you can see further down the page: 「シャフルボード 」

This is how everyone else is translating this game too. Hope that clears it up.

Actually, ignore what I said about shuffleboard. Uppon closer inspection the game title does have the small tsu indicating sound repetition, so it's spelled exactly like the world shuffle in the dictionary.

Well, I think my post pretty clearly suggests I know Japanese vocals are not pronounced the same as in English...

I completely missed that the second kana was a small one. That is a good catch. With that in mind, my opinion becomes: go ahead and change it to Shuffle Fight. I doubt anyone else would disagree now. I'll change it myself if no one has any objections.
