I think the correct romanization of the name ワギャン is Wagan.

Both No-Intro NES and SNES DATs use "Wagan". If you don't want to change to "Wagyan", I will change NDS to "Wagan" for series naming consistency.

However please note that they actually write "Wagyan" in japanese. They could have simply used "ワガン" for "Wagan".

And check the URL for official NDS game site, "Wagyan" is used:

Experience show that sometimes an apparently intended romanization (Wagan) is just a bad romanization (according to our rules). Maybe this is the case.

NDS examples are "Kimi no Yuusha" (romanized "Kimino Yusha" on boxart) and "Gensou Suikoden - Tierkreis" (romanized "Genso" on boxart).

I guess you are right. It looks like those Wagyan characters are shouting gya syllables.

Wagyan is propably a more correct choice. I will change the titles in the SNES dat.
