Stupid string added at the end of the rom.

I also noticed - unfortunately ips won't work. What tool did coolhj use for the 2 Tennis-games?

To remove the string from 1485, you have to do the following:
1. Open it in an hex-editor
2. Go to the end of the file
3. You should see the string right there, and in the HEX part of your editor just overwrite the wrong code with FF's
4. Save the file and you should have the right CRC already :)
PS. Don't forget to just right FF's to the end of the file, because it says MRT there ;)
