Sonic & Knuckles + Sonic The Hedgehog 2 requires patch to run on hardware

The Sonic & Knuckles lock-on cartridge contains patch code specific to Sonic 2, where the resulting rom may not run directly on hardware (Everdrive, MiSTer, etc) without a patch to the rom. Perhaps a note could be added? See the following:
