I'm not sure why this one was retitled. The game is based on the manga and anime series MAR, AKA MAR Heaven. Nowhere before have I ever seen the name presented as being "MAER" except in No-Intro's dat. If you look at the box for the game, you see that it says MAR in stylized English letters behind the katakana, and below that it says "Marchen Awakens Romance", which is actually what MAR is an acronym for. Please note that logo uses "MÄR" and "Märchen" (umlauted a vowel). Also, check the last 2 posts on the following NDS discussion:

In addition to that, we replace umlauted vowels with "(vowel)e" (für -> fuer) due to low ASCII char set limitations, and according to Germany officially accepted written representation under such limitations.

Oh, okay. Thanks; I fully understand. Kind of messes up the acronym, though that isn't all No-Intro's fault.
