We have 1 letter for all other countries so we should stick to this. |

Nope... Netherlands is also 2 caracters (NL) but I don't care what we pick Ch or C, but we already have some Ch games all with a [p] remark but still Ch is already set for China, so I found it strange to see a C game suddenly. |

ok, but i think that from the next version we will use everywere (C), just to follow a bit more goodcodes convetion. |

you know the others are all marked with [p],they are all chinese translation games, not really for china. actually, nointro dat do not need these games. a number is not important for me, i don't care. ;) . cause we are using the same number as PH's release list. i don't know why these games are put in the renamer dat. :? there are still many chinese hacking game, but no one care at this time :( |

In PH's faq you see that they accept all commercial games and commercial doesn't need licensing from nintendo. They don't accept them anymore because it's hard to tell if it comes from a real pirate cart or if it's a rom-hack I think. Why don't we use (N) for netherlands? |

right. how could they make such a mistake. :D our purpose is no hacked game,no pirate cart |

N could be Norway too ! (and other countries, but I doubt there will even be a Nigerian, Nicaraquan, Nubian, etc... release) |

"G" could be Greece, "I" India and "S" Saudi-Arabia ;) |

(H) could be an acceptable replacement for (NL) as Holland is and alternative for the Netherlands, or is H already reserved. Possible confusing with hacked ROMs mind u, possibly the reason china was (Ch) instead of (C) to remove confusing it with a cracked ROM. Mind u the round brackets should remove the confusion. |

Only real solution is to use the official country abbreviations that they use in the Olympics :) |

Why not just have (c) be cracked and (C) be China. |
FidoFuz »

You mean [c] for cracked and (C) for China. |

now for something completely different. how about using the last 3 characters in the serial e.g. USA, JPN, CHN, EUU, KOR etc etc etc |

if the lenght of the names in the dat is an issue, how about dropping the (Mx). really, is really necessary? |

I know but Netherlands is always refered to as NL never as N It's commonly accepted that N = Norway and NL = Netherlands |
