 proposal for the transscription scheme
Argument: Naming , Reference: generic , Closed by: root

I don't know if this was ever discussed before - it probably was -, but how about indicating what's hiragana and what's katakana by using different casing, e.g. キモかわE! being transscribed as KAMOkawaE; I know it's not perfect, but it would make sense to a certain degree (like カタカナ also being used for emphasis). You could even mark kanji that way, by starting with an uppercase letter and continuing lowercase.
Just a thought.

Sorry but no.

no need to be sorry. it's not about doing me a favor, it's about improving the naming.
was it discussed before? if not, care to discuss it now? just no is a little meager imo.

I'm not really convinced myself that this would be better, but I'd like to hear other people's opinion on it.
